First of all - actually I wanted to give two stars. But after the waitress was indignant that there was no tip and also asserted this after I had to go to the counter to finally be able to pay. First we waited half an hour for the drinks. The food came quickly after ordering. A roast venison and a braised ox were ordered. With spaetzle and red cabbage. The red cabbage was completely peppery. When I said this, I received salt and pepper ... The ox should have simmered for quite a while. Without a good knife you wouldn't have got very far here. The sauce and spaetzle were at best mediocre. One star is really only given for the delicious deer. This one was tender, sufficient for the quantity. The sauce with it was also very good.

Yesterday evening I got a table there by chance and didn't regret it! Food very tasty and large portions. Delicious beer and of course not to forget the very nice wait staff! So all in all a great evening that we will remember fondly! I can only recommend it.

Delicious, well priced. Had the Postkellerpfandl and Swiss sausage salad. Tasted very good. We were still there several times and it always tasted good. The Wiener Schnitzel is big and delicious!

Have been there again today. Great portions, great taste and affordable. were very friendly received by Rosi and looked after throughout the evening. Very nice being. It was really fun. Always happy.

The Postkeller Pfandl was awesome (pork medallions baked with mountain cheese, mushrooms and knöpfle and delicious sauce). Great, fast and friendly service. Table reservations are highly recommended!

Lovely local brewery 5 mins walking distance from the inner old town. Reservation is recommended. Good food with huge portion. Friendly and attentive service, always.

Food was very good and tasty. There is nothing to complain about. But ... which is not possible, that with 2 people the second meal came almost 10 minutes after the first. My wife was halfway through her meal before I got my meal. The attentiveness of the staff also left something to be desired. We've been sitting in front of empty glasses for a long time. Based on the mostly positive reviews, I assume that we just had a bad day.

Today we went to the Postkeller Mittenwald to eat. The portions were very large and delicious. Price-performance ratio is very good. Despite the full dining room, the waiting time was reasonably short. The waitresses were always friendly and clearly enjoyed their work. Many thanks to our waitress Elisabeth.

Unfortunately I have to give just one star cause I was sooo disappointed ( great place and potential). The service of course tried the best, but they were just a few people, they definitely need more stuff in there. The burger was written in the menu MEDIUM and I even personally asked about it, but it came WELL DONE?. The meat was very not tasty and poor quality ? The ? was delicious, and place looked nice, stuff busy but generally friendly, but sorry the hamburger cannot be called medium when it is hard, cooked and disqusting and not so cheap either. I mean probably they have good food there but we just were completely unlucky. ?
